Alderney is easy to reach! Aurigny Airlines operates regular flights from several UK airports and from Guernsey. You can also travel by ferry from Guernsey, or arrive by private vessel at Braye Harbour. We'd recommend booking accommodation and transport well in advance, especially during Alderney Week when the island is busier than usual.
Alderney has a range of accommodation options to suit all budgets — from hotels and B&Bs to self-catering holiday rentals and camping. We strongly recommend booking as early as possible, as accommodation fills up quickly during Alderney Week. Contact the Alderney Tourism team for a full list of available accommodation.
Yes! The vast majority of Alderney Week events are completely free — just turn up and enjoy. Some special activities or ticketed events may apply. The adults-only Quarry and Bunker Parties are separate ticketed events. We'll share full pricing details as the programme is confirmed.
Absolutely — Alderney Week is a family celebration at heart! Events like the Cavalcade, Water Splash, Sandcastle Competition, Man Powered Flight and Scavenger Hunt are all designed to be enjoyed by children of all ages. The adults-only Quarry and Bunker Parties are clearly marked and not suitable for under-18s.
